Service Delivery Manager

We are seeking a talented, motivated Service Delivery Manager to manage the implementation of Unizin Solution on Member campuses, foster engagement, and increase adoption.

Unizin is a membership based not-for-profit organization with a mission to improve higher education teaching and learning experiences.  Our aim is to shape the ways in which higher education is best served, advance quality educational materials, promote teaching and learning innovation, share best practices, and enable the best learning analytics.

This full-time position will report to the Chief Operating Officer and is based in Austin, TX. 

What You’ll Do

  • Develop relationships with Members and provide leadership and coordination for the deployment and support of Unizin tools and services
  • Develop, manage, and continuously improve development support procedures and tools, including internal operational materials and external knowledge base
  • Assist with new system development and improvements to existing systems
  • Participate in development, design, testing and production of Unizin solutions
  • Assist with plans, procedures, and activities to support product development and business activity
  • Continuously gather and incorporate internal staff and Member feedback
  • Work closely with third party vendor companies
  • Manage and ensure high performance of Services staff

What You'll Need

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, IT or equivalent field
  • 5+ years demonstrated experience supporting internal operations of universities and technology challenges facing higher education
  • Project management and planning skills with emphasis on the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Ability to develop effective, matrixed, cross-organizational relationships
  • Experience with cloud based technologies
  • Familiarity with trending IT solutions and services
  • Ability to travel to Member campuses and conferences up to 25%
